How to leave a gift in your will
It’s so easy to leave a gift in your will. The first step is get in contact with your solicitor. Whether you have an existing will or you are starting from new, the information you will need to provide them with to leave a gift to Switch the Play Foundation is:

If you do not have a solicitor you can search for a local reputable legal professional through The Law Society’s database.
Your solicitor will talk you through the different types of legacy you can leave to find the option that is right for you. In summary they are:
A residuary gift – a percentage of your remaining estate once any specified gifts to friends and family have been made. Its value will depend on the value of your estate at any given time rather than a set amount.
A pecuniary gift – a specific amount of money. It’s worth bearing in mind that this will lose value over time with the effects of inflation and your gift may end up being less than you intended.
A specific gift – this is a gift of a specific item rather than money for example a personal possession, land or shares.
