The Business of Sport Breakfast conference will see key stakeholders, from the world of business and sport, discuss the benefits of a cohesive approach and how this could create more opportunities in the North West.

Switch the Play’s directors, Beth Tweddle MBE and Chris Brindley MBE will form part of a high-profile discussion panel at the forthcoming Business of Sport Insider Breakfast 2018 on August 15th in Manchester.

Designed to bring together representatives from the world of sport and business in the North West, the panel will discuss how both sectors can form strategic alliances to create employment, improve local facilities and encourage further business investment in the region.

During the event Beth and Chris will have an opportunity to discuss how Switch the Play is successfully working with business and sporting organisations to equip elite and professional athletes with the necessary skills for the world of work.

Beth will draw on her own experience of transitioning from being Britain’s greatest-ever female gymnast to a successful career as director of Total Gymnastics and Switch the Play. While Chris’ incredible contribution to the business of sport in his various roles, which include Chairman of Greater Sport and Director of Switch the Play, will provide invaluable insight to the discussions.

Joining Beth and Chris on the panel will be other representatives from the world of business and sport, including Andrew Cooke, regional director, Bruntwood, Sharona Friedman, chief marketing officer, UCFB, Daniel Gidney, CEO, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Jon Dutton, CEO, Rugby League World Cup 2021 and Tim Ashcroft, director, Innovas.
