Beyond The Game: Life After Sport talkSPORT Documentary

Recently, Switch the Play Foundation featured in the talkSPORT documentary ‘Beyond The Game, Life After Sport’.

The documentary features former and current athletes such as Dame Kelly Holmes, Blaine Hunt, Robbie Simpson and Jack Green, as well as interviews from Switch the Play’s Rob Young (CEO) and Matt Lock (Athlete Services Manager). It explores the several challenges that athletes come across when retiring from sport, for example, purpose, identity and mental health to name a few. It was a great experience to contribute to increasing awareness surrounding the struggles that arise through athlete transition and to share why we do what we do.
