Switch The Play Foundation are happy to announce that we have spaces available on a Charity Golf Day in partnership with Under the Posts. The event will take place on the 8th September 2020 at Edgbaston Golf Club, Birmingham.
Following on from the extremely successful Ride 100 fundraiser, the StP team are excited to be involved in this golf day. Hosted by former international Rugby Union players George Chuter, Leon Lloyd and Martin Corry, guests will enjoy a day’s golf tournament, food on arrival and after the round, athlete Q&A session and auction. Team and individual prizes will be up for grabs as well as a ‘beat the pro’ charity hole.
You can enter a 3-ball team for a cost of £500 (plus VAT). All of the proceeds will be split between the Switch the Play Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust and Golfing 4 Life. Money raised for Switch the Play Foundation will support people to prepare for and manage the transition to a life outside of sport, through our transition and mental health support services.
To join us for what is sure to be a brilliant event, please email luke.jennings@switchtheplay.com today to organise your team. Limited spaces available!
Should you wish to support the day but not play golf, you can do so by sponsoring a hole on the day. This will provide you with brand awareness to all golfers on the day and will further help sportspeople to transition positively to life outside of sport. If this is something you are interested in, please get in touch.
