Free One Day Event of Masterclasses and the real chance of an amazing job

Today we’re excited to announce an exclusive event for our Switched On members. We’ve teamed up with our partner Oil Brokerage, specialist brokers in gas and oil, to run a FREE one day transition workshop in central London. Packed full of not one, not two but THREE masterclasses, the day will culminate with one attendee being offered a job! Oil Brokerage has guaranteed to offer the attendee that’s impressed them the most throughout the day a job and the chance to begin what is hoped will be a successful career with this highly-respected company.
The full day event, on September 3rd 2019 in London, will include:
A Transferrable Skills Masterclass
A CV Writing and Brand of You Masterclass
A Self-Awareness Masterclass which will reveal the results of your very own personality profile. This will be run by Leon Lloyd, CEO of Switch the Play and former Leicester Tigers and England rugby union player
A Free personality profile test ahead of the day. Gain an insight into your personality preferences, how you make your decisions, where you get your energy from and how you best communicate
An overview of career opportunities at Oil Brokerage and the chance to get a real feel for the day-to-day workings of the company. Includes attending a live trading session
The opportunity to put yourself forward for roles, with one attendee securing a job offer on the day!
Networking with the senior team from Oil Brokerage, Switch the Play Team and Associates and other current and former elite athletes
The day is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about careers in finance and brokerage. It’s also a chance to impress the Oil Brokerage team as they are actively recruiting current and former elite athletes. Oil Brokerage has a strong track-record in recruiting talent from the world of professional sport. Former Harlequins player turned oil broker Ryan O’Neil is the driving force behind the company’s partnership with Switch the Play, while JP O’Reilly, Oil Brokerage’s Performance Director, is a former professional rugby player for Leicester and Sale and until 2018 the manager of Saracens. The company is very much hoping to find their next recruits at this event
The workshop is open to all Switched On members and is completely free (excluding travel and accommodation).
