Join Us: Events and Community Fundraiser

Posted on: 30 May 2023 by Switch the Play

Not all sportspeople have a secure future planned. Very few leave sport as millionaires or with the financial freedom to be set up for life. In fact, for the hidden majority of sportspeople, this could not be further from the truth. Leaving a life in sport can be extremely tough – mentally, emotionally and financially.

Switch the Play Foundation is the UK’s only charity dedicated to supporting all sportspeople to successfully transition to life outside sport.  We empower sportspeople to be their best through sport by providing a range of person-centred services, training, wellbeing and transition support.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events & Community Fundraiser to develop and manage a programme of exciting and engaging events and fundraising initiatives. This is a brand new role and the successful candidate will play a critical role in helping Switch the Play Foundation to achieve its ambitious plans for growth and development.

We are a small and talented team, each skilled in our fields of work, joined by a passion for sport and the wellbeing of sportspeople - and we are looking for the next person to join our team.

If you are looking for the next step in your fundraising career and are ready to shape and develop a new role where you will take the lead in a number of key areas, we would love to hear from you.
