Emotional Resilience

Associates

Purpose of the masterclass

To understand how your brain and body responds to different stressors so that you can better manage your emotions and actions, in and outside of the sporting environment.

Who’s it for?

Individual sportspeople, groups of sportspeople (teams), dual-career athletes or sporting organisations/practitioners

Why this masterclass?

Emotional resilience isn’t simply about ‘bouncing back and powering through’; go beyond the myths with this masterclass! Obstacles are an everyday part of life, in and outside of sport. This masterclass will help you to understand more about how your brain and body responds to these challenges. Using sport as a reference point, you will understand more about your personal triggers and be introduced to effective coping strategies and as a result develop a proactive approach to developing and maintaining your own emotional resilience.

Mini masterclasses can be tailored to be between 45 and 90 minutes long. Full masterclasses are 3 hours long.
